About Us
The Science Fiction Coalition was founded on January 1st, 2017 in San Diego by Shawn Mullen and fellow science fiction enthusiasts. Our mission is simple: Support our community, uplift each other and all of those arounds us, and celebrate the spirit of fandom.
An Invasion Is Coming!

While cosplay is a major pastime of many of our members, the SciFiCo is primarily a fan club for all of those who enjoy movies, games, comics, and all things nerdy. Anyone can join and participate in any of our events which include movie nights, beach days, camping trips, and many sorts of adventures.
Making a difference in our community!

Sci-Fi Coalition established the Los Angeles Sector in 2018 at Vasquez Rocks, the legendary filming site of many science fiction movies and shows such as Star Trek to Power Rangers. The chapter’s growth was stymied by the pandemic. However, with the blessing of the old guard, a new team has taken charge.
